Rene's Review and Recommendation (RR and R)

Like I stated earlier I was going to write out my own rating guide so it is very clear what 1-10 means. I like this 1-10 system I came out with because it is very descriptive of what each movie is to me. I by no means am saying that it should replace the current 5 star guide that most reviewers use, but it is different and fun. Here goes:

I will never watch again. This movie is definitely walk out worthy or turn off worthy depending on where you are. At some point during this movie I wanted to find the Director and ask them for compensation for my time. I definitely do not recommend this movie.




This movie is also not good. It is not completely horrible, but I also would like a sit down with the director. Perhaps, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it is their first movie. I do not recommend this movie.






This movie probably was a big problem with the acting/directing or the movie had excessive crudeness (which is something I cannot stand). There was some talent portrayed just not very much. I do not recommend.






This movie just didn't quite cut it. There were probably some good parts in it, I might've even laughed or felt some type of emotion other than utter distaste. Ultimately though, probably not worth your time and I do not recommend it.






This movie would be a movie that had parts that made me not like it enough to recommend but then again other parts that wouldn't let me count it out of recommendation. If I could I would recommend parts like minute 31 to minute 46 and other parts like minute 51 to minute 59 you should definitely not watch ultimately it is up to you.






This movie is barely good enough to recommend. But, it is good enough to recommend. Definitely has a good story line or great acting or something that pushed it up to this level. Although, it is still missing quite a bit of either cohesiveness, cinematography or acting etc... . I would recommend this to watch.






This movie is a definite to watch, it is a good solid movie that should compose up to 50 - 60 percent of your movie collection.






These movies are great movies, they inspire and are original. Good acting, good directing and just an overall good feeling after watching. There are good lines worth repeating. You must see this movie at some point in time in your life.






After watching one of these movies one cannot stop talking about it. It can be watched multiple times and learning lines from these movie are considered cool. Not only do I recommend it but you'd be silly not to.






You can call these movies masterpieces or epic. I feel any of these movies as a prerequisite have to have an excellent musical score. Everything clicks, the actors are great, the cinematography, the directing, the music and not only should you watch it... you need to own it and perhaps allow it to persuade you into buying a surround system and perhaps build a movie room.
